Arobanam Boys Home was the first home ACF supported in Kilinochi, in Sri Lanka, at the request of Fr James Pathinathan. Arobanam’s name originated from this home. During it’s optimal service, Arobanam Boys Home housed 135 children. In 2009, the home was destroyed as a result of the Civil War. However, there was no loss of life. Although the home was badly damaged in 2009, we were still looking after a few children in the undamaged part of the home.

Currently the home has been rebuilt using the donations from various organisations. Father Jude Amalathas is expanding the services by adding more needy children.
